Inman Museum Brochure

For a small Kansas community, the city of Inman has an impressive vision for the future and preservation of the past. This is most apparent at the Inman Museum, a gem of an attraction along Main Street. In addition to the predictable artifacts, the museum features a complete 1800s town square–built from 100+ year-old wood and authentic mud bricks–that truly provides a window to historic prairie living. Then step outside for more: a fully restored Rock Island train depot (complete with caboose), a life-size farmstead (the old farmhouse was moved into town from the country and completely restored, and the barn was built from the ground up onsite) and many more surprises a long the way.
